I have always loved stories. Any kind of story; it doesn’t matter whether it’s a thirty second advert or a three-hour film – I’ll follow it avidly.

Engaged at eighteen, married at nineteen I arrived at University an oddity, with a husband and cat. I left University as a teacher and I’ve spent the better part of twenty years teaching and tutoring before finally coming out of my writing closet. I’m a proud mother who has been married, divorced and widowed. I’ve learnt that life can be very cruel and I know what it’s like to lose everything. Equally, it’s taught me that at the core of life is love, friendship and hope. 

I now live in West Berkshire with my cats – who occasionally allow me to actually type on my laptop.
